The European Society for Paediatric Nephrology (ESPN) was founded in 1967 with the goal of diffusing knowledge and improving the treatment of children with kidney diseases.
ESPN brings together clinical professionals and researchers that operate in the field of Paediatric Nephrology throughout Europe.
ESPN is the official European partner of the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA), is closely associated by mutual agreement with the European Renal Association (ERA) and a member of the European Kidney Health Alliance (EKHA).
“For over 50 years, ESPN has been committed to advancing pediatric nephrology. With more than 1000 members from over 70 countries, we are a global network dedicated to education, research, and clinical excellence. Our mission is to connect pediatric nephrology experts worldwide.
We support young professionals and future leaders through YPNN, organize scientific events and congresses, and develop educational projects in collaboration with industry partners. We promote knowledge and advance science together through working groups, task forces, collaborative registries, and studies.”
ESPN coordinates nine working groups on key areas of pediatric nephrology to advance clinical care, research, and collaboration across Europe.
Our mission is to empower the new generation of professionals by promoting education, research, training, and networking opportunities.
